BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
A European tech company that has built and tested a “flying car” is seeking $19.5MM in investment capital to finance commercial production of the vehicle.

Over the last 7 years, a team of engineers from the aerospace and automotive industries, using patent-protected, safe and proven technologies for both driving and flying have developed, built and tested a prototype personal air and land vehicle, which combines mobility on the road and in the air in one convenient vehicle. The “flying car” complies with existing regulations for both automobiles and airplanes in most countries. Because the vehicle can be used for many purposes and applications, the Company targets private, business and institutional customers in both highly developed and emerging countries. The development of accompanying service and training capacities will facilitate the adoption of this radical new product.

This vehicle has the only technology in the world that allows safe and fast driving with a vehicle that has a high center of gravity typical for an airplane. The resulting 3-wheel vehicle with a tandem cockpit is fun to drive and looks sleek and dynamic. The technology employs a rotating wing on top for lift and a propeller in the back for propulsion. Conversion from driving to flying and vice-versa is enabled through a foldable wing and a slide-able tail. It uses an adapted standard aircraft engine for powering both flight and road use and requires 500 ft for take-off and 100 ft for landing. Obtaining a flight license is relatively easy.

The overriding goal in the development of the “flying car” was to certify the product within the existing certification rules and regulations for automobiles and airplanes. The combination of flying and comfortable, sportive driving is likely to initiate a new style in mobility allowing the pilot/driver to fly over physical barriers and congested areas and opt for driving the rest of the journey.
