BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
With 30-million iPhones sold to date, and an additional 37 million projected to be sold in 2010, there continues to be a severe lack of a true integration of the iPhone92;s music applications, video and GPS features within the automobile.Current production solutions remain limited and incomplete in integration capabilities and often relying on FM transmission as a means to play audio in the vehicle over static radio waves. While other solutions offer direct radio integration on the iPod feature only through a cable that is often stored away in the glove box. This solution hides access to the iPhone and doesn92;t allow the use of the iPhones GPS features. Most recently it was surveyed that only 26%; of Bluetooth owners make use of Bluetooth technology, reporting greater satisfaction with installed, hands-free car kits. To say nothing that Bluetooth does not provide power to charge the iPhone thus faster battery drain and the requirement of a battery charging accessory. These band-aide solutions are limited and incomplete integration for iPhone and range in cost from 24;50 to 24;200 and in some cases over 24;1,000.
